Structural and Installation Flexibility
The wedge anchor consists of components such as a clip, flat washer, nut, and in some cases a spring washer, with standardized thread specifications. During installation, it generates fastening force through the compression and expansion of its clip ring, requiring no chemical adhesives and posing no strict demands on drilling depth. However, the drill hole size must precisely match the anchor. Additionally, the wedge anchor offers flexibility in adjusting spacing and thread length.
In contrast, conventional expansion bolts typically feature a T-shaped design and rely on the friction between an expansion sleeve and the hole wall for fixation. They require precise control over drilling depth and hole cleanliness, and generally allow for one-time expansion and fastening
Key Applications:
Architectural Structures: Curtain wall fixation, support plate installation, railing connections
Industrial Equipment: Machinery base anchoring, beam reinforcement
Infrastructure Projects: Bridge component connections, power facility installation
Special Environments: Chemical equipment, seaside structures, and other corrosive environments
