An Eye Bolt or Lifting Eye is a fastener featuring a ring-shaped "eye," primarily designed to provide a secure and reliable lifting point or connection point for objects, used for hoisting, pulling, bundling, or securing heavy loads. It is manufactured through a thermo-quenched forging process and treated with CORRUD-DT anti-corrosion coating, which offers over 20 times better corrosion resistance than conventional galvanization. With a strength grade of 12.9, its maximum working load capacity reaches up to 30 metric tons.

The eye bolt must be securely tightened to ensure full contact with the supporting surface, but over-tightening with tools is strictly prohibited.
When lifting with two eye bolts, ensure both eye loops lie in the same plane, and the angle between the lifting slings must not exceed 90°.
When selecting an eye bolt, carefully inspect the threads, grade, and length for compatibility, and confirm the absence of damage or deformation. Replace immediately if any issues are found.
Verify the working load limit, thread specifications, batch number, and manufacturer markings to ensure all information is legible.
Different types of eye bolts are designed for specific lifting directions. Ensure forces remain within the designated range during design. For example, eye bolts may comply with GB (Chinese National Standard), ASME (American Standard), or non-standard specifications, and material grades may vary. Therefore, careful confirmation is essential.
The maximum lifting capacity of an eye bolt is its rated load. Overloading is strictly prohibited to prevent severe consequences.
